Welcoming a new baby into the world is a truly special and unforgettable time for any parent. As every parent knows, those early days pass so quickly. A newborn photo session is a beautiful way to preserve those fleeting moments — from tiny toes and delicate details to milk drunk smiles and gentle yawns. I will create timeless images to treasure for a lifetime.

Newborn photo sessions take place in my cosy home studio in Steeple Claydon, near Buckingham. Designed to feel like a home from home, the space is warm, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you may need. It provides a calm environment created with both baby and parents in mind, so you can relax and enjoy the experience.

Alternatively I can travel to your home with my mobile studio for an additional charge.

Each session is baby-led and unhurried, allowing plenty of time for feeding, changing, and settling. I understand

that in those early days you may feel a little apprehensive about handing your baby to someone new or wonder

how they will be during the session. Please be reassured that your baby’s comfort and safety are always my top

priority, and I will do everything I can to ensure they feel happy and content throughout. I am fully trained in

newborn photography, DBS checked, and committed to continually updating my skills, particularly in safety.

As a mum of two and someone who has worked with babies and families for over eight years, I bring both

professional expertise and genuine care to every session.

​​WHEN TO BOOK

​

The ideal time to photograph your newborn is within 5-21 days old, while they are still in that naturally curled,

sleepy stage. For this reason, early booking is recommended, ideally soon after your 12-week scan, so I can

reserve space around your baby’s due date. I limit the number of sessions I schedule each month to allow

flexibility for babies’ unpredictable arrivals. However, if you are past your 12-week scan, please don’t hesitate

to get in touch, as I may still have availability.

 

If your baby has already passed this early stage, there’s no need to worry. I can still capture beautiful images,

so I encourage you to contact me as soon as you can to discuss options.​

Approximately two to three weeks after the session, you will receive access to a private online gallery, allowing

you to view and select your favourite images from the comfort of your own home.​​
