Birthday and Cake Smash sessions are a wonderful way to celebrate a special milestone. Whether your little one is turning 'one' or your older child is about to enter their

teenage years, these sessions provide a beautiful way to mark the occasion and

create lasting memories through timeless photographs.

A first birthday is such a significant milestone, and a cake smash session offers a fun and memorable way

to celebrate. With a birthday cake, plenty of personality, and lots of smiles, it’s the perfect opportunity

to capture joyful images you’ll treasure for years to come.

Birthday sessions aren’t just for little ones — they can be enjoyed at any age.

You’re never too old to celebrate a birthday and document the moment.

Each session is thoughtfully tailored to you, with your choice of colours, theme, and decorations. I will work

closely with you to design a setup that perfectly reflects your vision and creates a truly personal experience.

These sessions take place in my cosy home studio in Steeple Claydon, near Buckingham. Designed to feel

like a home from home, the space is warm, comfortable, and fully equipped with everything you may need.

I am fully trained in baby and family photography, DBS checked, and committed to continually updating

my skills. As a mum of two and someone who has worked with babies and families for over

eight years, I bring both professional expertise and genuine care to every session.

WHEN TO BOOK

I recommend scheduling a birthday session 2-3 weeks prior to the birthday if you would like the images

ready in time for the special day. You’re welcome to reserve your session as far in advance as you like,

helping ensure you secure a date and time that suits you best.

Approximately two weeks after the session, you will receive access to a private online gallery, allowing

you to view and select your favourite images from the comfort of your own home.

CAKE SMASH & SPLASH

Perfect for a first birthday. For baby only.

A Cake Smash & Splash is two sessions in one! We begin with the cake smash, capturing all the fun, curiosity,

and messy moments, before finishing with a splash session where your little one can enjoy some

bubbly bath-time fun in a miniature tub.

Each session is thoughtfully personalised to suit your child. I’ll work closely with you to design the

perfect setup in the colours or theme of your choice.

You can choose from my growing collection of themed or simple backdrops, along with a variety of cake smash outfits. All decorations and accessories are included to make the experience seamless and stress-free. You’re very welcome

to provide your own cake, or I can arrange one for you from my trusted local cake maker for an additional charge.

PORTRAITS AND CAKE

Suitable for a first or second birthday. Parents & siblings can be included.

This session is the perfect choice if you’d love a combination of beautiful portraits and all the fun of a

cake smash celebration. We begin with a portrait session, capturing your little one’s blossoming personality

and those cheeky smiles. Parents and siblings are very welcome to join in too, making it a wonderful

opportunity to update your family photographs. We then move onto the cake smash, capturing the excitement,

curiosity, and delightfully messy moments that make the occasion so memorable.

Please note that this session does not include a splash bath at the end.

For the portrait part of your session, your baby will be photographed against a simple, timeless backdrop,

styled with carefully selected props and accessories to create beautiful, classic images.

For the cake smash, you can choose from my growing collection of themed or simple backdrops, along with a

variety of cake smash outfits. All decorations and accessories are included to make the experience seamless

and stress-free. Each session is thoughtfully personalised to suit your child. I’ll work closely with you to

design the perfect cake smash setup in the colours or theme of your choice.

THE BIG BIRTHDAY SESSION

Perfect for older children and adults celebrating a special Birthday. Parents & siblings can be included.

These sessions are a wonderful way to celebrate a significant milestone birthday, whether it’s reaching double digits, becoming a teenager, celebrating an 18th, or marking another special year. Together, we’ll create beautiful

keepsake images that you can treasure and look back on for many years to come.

Your photographs will be taken against two or three plain backdrops, styled with a selection of props and accessories chosen to reflect your personality and create a timeless collection of images. If you’d like to add something

a little extra, there is also the option to include a mini cake smash at the end of your session.

Every session is thoughtfully personalised, and I will work closely with you to design the perfect setups.

All decorations and accessories are included to make the experience seamless and stress-free,

you’ll simply need to bring along your chosen outfits.

If you decide to include a mini cake smash, you are very welcome to provide your own cake, or I can arrange

one for you from my trusted local cake maker for an additional charge.

A deposit of £50 is required to secure your booking. The deposit will be deducted from the total cost of your chosen package. You do not need to choose a package until you have viewed your images in your online gallery after the session. There are no hidden costs, just choose the package that suits you best.
